If you are thinking of using wine barrels for decoration (or for example as a makeshift high table in a bar), either for your home or business then used wine barrels can be a great option as they are not only a much lower cost option, but they also give you a vintage look serving as a testament to the histroy of the barrel. We have 3 standard options for used barrels available, depending on how smart you would like the barrels to appear.
- We can supply used wine barrels as we receive them, which will mean that there will typically be some red wine stains on them and other scuff marks and hoops will look a bit rough. Price is €151.
- We can sand the surface of the barrels to tidy up the wood and replace the hoops (galvinised or black), which will leave the barrel looking a lot smarter, but still with a slightly aged appearance as not every mark will get removed. Price is €195.
- We can sand then varnish (and replace the hoops) to leave the barrel looking very smart and almost like new. The varnish will also make the barrel easier to clean and less liable to any future staining. Price is €240
Please note that prices do not include VAT where applicable. We can easily ship the barrels to clients in Portugal or further afield. One pallet can take up to four 225 litre barrels.
